CALIFORNIA COLLEGE OF THE ARTS
Armed with a BFA in Graphic Design from California College of the Arts, Ed Ng is a non-stop creative engine. He is currently a designer at NOON, touching and generating a variety of projects, from print collateral and identity development to marketing communications, motion graphics, and 3D design. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Ng moved to San Francisco at 17 without any knowledge of English. He taught himself the language in a string of creative ways, including listening to hip-hop artist Jay-Z. At CCA he quickly earn the admiration and acclaim of his faculty and peers. Ng began his career at Martin Venezky’s firm Appetite Engineers. His work there is now part of SFMOMA’s permanent collection. He was recently selected a resident screenprinting artists at the Levi’s Workshop. Ng enjoys photography, collage, and hands-on projects. As you read this, he’s probably drinking a cup of strong coffee, considering surgical parallel parking, or slurping a bowl of hot and spicy noodle soup.
